Disclaimer
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This Disclaimer applies to https://bella-cuisine.com and to informational materials published by Bella Cuisine Kids Cooking Club about cooking education, community programs, events, partners, and healthy eating. Please read it together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Educational purpose only
Bella Cuisine publishes content to support our nonprofit mission: helping children and families learn healthy cooking habits, kitchen safety, and community food skills. Program pages describe volunteering chefs, Cooking with Cops, gardens, and wellness partnerships. Content is for general education and community awareness. It is not individualized instruction guaranteeing specific health, culinary, or weight-management outcomes.
2. Food safety disclaimer
Food safety disclaimer: Recipes and cooking techniques associated with our classes or described on this Site may have been demonstrated in supervised educational settings. However, home kitchens differ. Always follow proper food safety guidelines, including washing hands and produce, avoiding cross-contamination, cooking foods to safe internal temperatures, refrigerating leftovers promptly, and discarding food that may be unsafe. Authoritative resources include the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s food safety materials at fda.gov/food.
Bella Cuisine is not responsible for outcomes if recipes or techniques are modified, substituted, scaled incorrectly, prepared with unsafe equipment, undercooked, left at unsafe temperatures, or cooked without adequate adult supervision of children. We are also not responsible for foodborne illness, burns, cuts, or property damage arising from cooking activities inspired by our programs or Site content. Use knives, stoves, ovens, and small appliances carefully and age-appropriately.
3. Allergens and dietary needs
Ingredients used in classes or mentioned online may include allergens such as milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, and sesame. Always verify labels and ask about ingredients before tasting or cooking. See the allergy section in our Terms of Service for additional detail.
4. No medical or nutritional advice
References to childhood obesity prevention, wellness partners (such as national nutrition or activity initiatives), or “healthy recipes” are educational talking points, not medical diagnoses or treatment plans. Seek licensed healthcare advice for personal medical or nutrition decisions affecting children or adults.
5. External links and partners
The Site may link to partner organizations, government nutrition resources, donation processors, social networks, or advertisers. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Listing a partner does not mean that partner endorses every statement on our Site, and vice versa, unless expressly stated.
6. Advertising disclaimer
If Google AdSense or other ads appear, those ads are provided by third parties. Advertisers are solely responsible for their claims. Ad content does not represent Bella Cuisine’s advice or endorsement of any product, diet plan, or kitchen tool.
7. Photographs and stories
Images of classes, events, or food may be illustrative. Participation stories are shared to explain our mission and may be edited for clarity. Do not assume every depicted dish or activity is currently offered on a given date.
8. Accuracy and updates
We try to keep event details, contact information, and program descriptions accurate, but schedules change. Confirm important details by contacting us before traveling to an event or relying on a date or location published online.
9. Tested techniques vs. home results
When volunteer chefs demonstrate recipes in class, those sessions are supervised and portioned for the learning environment. Home cooks who change ingredients, skip steps, alter temperatures, or cook for different serving sizes may experience different textures, flavors, or safety outcomes. That variability is expected. Bella Cuisine does not warrant that any dish will turn out identically outside our classrooms.
10. Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bella Cuisine disclaims liability for damages arising from use of or reliance on Site content, including cooking results, allergic reactions, or decisions made based on educational materials. This Disclaimer does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
