Jonah and Gournie are two passionate and caring 14-year-olds that decided to spend their summer helping other teens.

Read & Feed is a wonderful event that will benefit homeless teens in Chicago. Through Jonah and Gournie’s efforts, these teens will introduce them to new and exciting ways to feed themselves, care for their bodies, and nourish their intellects.  Local chefs will take them on a culinary journey to learn about foods in different regions of the world. The Chicago Training Center will introduce them to the joys of rowing, a sport they can participate in through every stage of their lives.  And we will also provide them with an all-access pass to any number of places with the donation of many well-loved books.

There will also be special planned activities for everyone…including a special competition between the Chicago Fire Department and the Chicago Police Department that you don’t want to miss!

We’d love for you to come out and support the efforts of our youth that are working tirelessly to transform lives one day at a time.
