Welcome to Bella Cuisine Kids Cooking Club at https://bella-cuisine.com. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site and related content about our nonprofit cooking education programs, events, partners, and community initiatives. By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. About Bella Cuisine

Bella Cuisine Kids Cooking Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Chicago, Illinois. Volunteer chefs teach children kitchen safety, healthy recipes, food preparation, presentation, and gardening skills through classes in churches, community centers, park districts, and community programs such as Cooking with Cops. The Site provides information about our mission, programs, health and wellness partners, events, donation opportunities, and contact channels.

2. Educational and personal-use content

Articles, program descriptions, class outlines, recipe cards referenced in our programs, photographs, and other materials on the Site are provided for personal, non-commercial, educational use. You may read and share links to our pages for personal learning and community awareness. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission, except for brief quotations with attribution for non-commercial commentary or news reporting permitted by law.

Any recipe ideas, chef tips, or take-home recipe cards described in connection with our classes are intended to support family learning at home. They are not a substitute for professional instruction tailored to your household’s equipment, skill level, or dietary needs.

3. No professional culinary or nutritional advice

Nothing on this Site constitutes professional culinary, dietetic, medical, or nutritional advice. Content is educational and informational for families and community partners. Always consult qualified professionals (such as a registered dietitian, pediatrician, or allergist) before making dietary changes for children or anyone with medical conditions. Results of cooking activities vary based on ingredients, technique, equipment, and individual circumstances.

4. Food allergy and dietary restriction disclaimer

Food allergy disclaimer: Recipes, class menus, and food activities associated with Bella Cuisine may contain common allergens, including but not limited to milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame. Formulations can change. Always review ingredient lists yourself, ask instructors about allergens before participating in a class, and supervise children with allergies. We cannot guarantee allergen-free environments in community kitchens, churches, parks, or partner facilities. If you or your child has a severe allergy, discuss accommodations with us before registering and bring any prescribed emergency medication as advised by your physician.

Participants with religious, cultural, or personal dietary restrictions should communicate those needs in advance. We strive to be inclusive but cannot promise every preference can be met at every event.

5. Food safety expectations

Cooking involves risks of burns, cuts, cross-contamination, and foodborne illness. Adults must supervise children. Follow recognized food safety practices for handwashing, surface cleaning, temperature control, and separating raw and ready-to-eat foods. See also our Disclaimer for additional food safety language.

6. Donations and third-party services

Donations may be processed by third parties such as PayPal. Their terms and privacy policies apply to payment transactions. Charitable contribution acknowledgments are provided as required for our nonprofit status; consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility.

7. User conduct

You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malware, harvest data, harass staff or volunteers, or post unlawful content through any forms or communications. We may refuse or terminate access for conduct we reasonably believe violates these Terms or harms our community.
